Asics METASPEED™ SKY TOKYO  is ASICS' top-of-the-range competition model designed for runners whose style is based on longer strides and a desire to start fast and finish even faster. With these shoes, runners can increase their speed by lengthening their stride and saving energy with each step.

The newly developed FF LEAP™ foam technology is extremely light and bouncy. It is strategically placed in the bottom layer of the insole to provide more cushioning and a higher energy return. The upper layer of the insole uses FF TURBO™ PLUS foam, which further increases the response and provides better stability during landing.

Thanks to the higher position of the carbon plate and the thicker insole in the forefoot (compared to the METASPEED™ EDGE TOKYO model), you will experience a higher energy return and a longer stride. This feature helps to overcome the so-called 30 km barrier and maintain the pace in the later stages of the race.

MOTION WRAP™ 3.0 upper is a lightweight, technical, woven fabric that holds the foot securely in the shoe platform.
FF LEAP™ foam - highly bouncy and lightweight, providing improved cushioning and energy return under the forefoot.
FF TURBO™ PLUS foam – even lighter and bouncier than FF TURBO™, provides a more advanced running experience.
Carbon Plate - Increases energy return from the insole by allowing more deformation of the foam under the plate due to the wider shape and higher position.
ASICSGRIP™ outsole - A rubber outsole developed by ASICS for better grip on a variety of surfaces.
The insole is made using a dyeing technology that reduces water use by ~33% and carbon emissions by ~45% compared to conventional dyeing technology.
