These starters are for For distances of 100-400 meters, including steeplechase. They are characterized by an extremely aggressive construction and the reactivity provided by the Air Zoom system, which helps to effectively resist and develop maximum speed.

The inspiration for this special design is The Armory in New York, a legendary track and field arena where athletes of all skill levels train and compete.

The colorway of The Armory's oval track surface is echoed on the upper of the shoe. The green is inspired by The Armory Arena's infield, the blue is inspired by the warm-up area, and the red accents echo the color of The Armory's logo. The criss-cross graphic pattern is reminiscent of the arena's iconic ceiling structure.

What's new in Maxfly 2?

The Maxfly 2 is lighter and more reactive than the previous Maxfly. The updated shape and stiffness of the Flyplate provides even more effective resistance.

Compared to the previous Maxfly, the middle stud has been removed and the platform at the big toe is raised. These changes make the starters more stable at high speeds.
