Asics METASPEED™ SKY TOKYO  is ASICS' top-of-the-line competition model designed for runners whose style is based on longer strides and a desire to start fast and finish even faster. With these shoes, runners can increase their speed by lengthening their stride and saving energy with each step.

The newly developed FF LEAP™ foam technology is extremely light and bouncy. It is strategically placed in the bottom layer of the insole to provide more cushioning and a higher energy return. The upper layer of the insole uses FF TURBO™ PLUS foam, which further increases responsiveness and provides better stability during landing.

Thanks to the higher position of the carbon plate and the thicker insole in the forefoot (compared to the METASPEED™ EDGE TOKYO model), you will experience a higher energy return and a longer stride. This feature helps to overcome the so-called 30 km barrier and maintain the pace in the later stages of the race.
