These shoes are racing and very light. Together with the one-piece upper part of the shoe, the innovative VJ Fitlock system ensures an optimal shoe fit. They also protect the arch from the shocks the foot encounters when running in the woods.

The advanced midsole is made from an ultra-light and energy-returning material that will squeeze every extra second you need out of your race. In addition, the sole has RacePlate, which also protects the foot from sharp stones and protruding roots.

The Bold Race features the same Soft Heel technology seen on the Bold X, which reduces pressure on the heel bone and Achilles tendon for a glove-like heel fit.

The Superior Contact sole features 13 star-shaped steel studs for grip on slippery roots, moss and leaves.
