Boost Plus is a fast-acting gel that is high in caffeine, sodium, and carbohydrates.

Boost Plus combines two types of carbohydrates: maltodextrin and fructose, in a 2:1 ratio of glucose to fructose. Glucose and fructose use different transporters to get from the intestine to the bloodstream. When consuming more than 60 g/h of glucose, its transporter can become saturated, which will cause gastrointestinal disorders and, as a result, a decrease in performance. Thus, this combination allows for better energy utilization.
